Hi, I'm Sam (she/they).

Born and raised in the the Pacific Northwest, I am a true rain-embracing, adventure-seeking Oregonian. Amidst collegiate soccer, ecological research, scientific SCUBA diving, and ski lift operating on Mt. Hood—photography has remained a constant source of pleasure and documentation.

As a child I began to fiddle with disposable cameras, flip phones, laptop webcams. . . leading to over a decade of experience (with a big-kid camera, promise). I'm always striving to learn more as a photographer and human being.

 

Through the ebbs and flows of our humanity, I seek to capture raw, candid images, that convey the essence of who you are and what you're experiencing in this season of life.
