How does the process work?
RESEARCH ~ Get familiar with who I am, with my work, and read through my services to decide if I'm a good fit for your needs.
REACH OUT ~ If you'd like to work with me, contact me here or through Instagram to start a conversation. It's helpful to let me know what packages you're considering, and if you have any questions up-front. (P.S., I can't promise more than the minimum number of images, but I do tend to overdeliver, wink wink).
BOOK ~ Once you've selected a package, it's time to book a date! A 20% deposit will be required to secure your photoshoot. Shortly after booking, I'll have you sign a short contract that keeps the process clear. You are welcome to ask questions throughout!
PHOTOSHOOT ~ This is the most fun! Please be aware that for weddings, the remainder of the cost (after deposit) is due 72 hours (3 days) before the wedding date. For all other photoshoots, the remainder of the cost is due at the start of the photoshoot.
IMAGE DELIVERY ~ The time it takes for me to edit images and return them to you will vary based on the package you choose. Ballpark estimate is 2 weeks after the photoshoot for anything other than a wedding. The process can be expedited if requested and necessary (this can affect pricing). Your photos will be delivered electronically and you will be notified when that happens!
PRINTING ~ At this time I do not provide in-house printing services. This article might help you decide where to print your photos.

Why do you edit the images? What is your style?
WHY ~ Professional photography is an art. Along with my knowledge of the craft, my artistry preserves the essence of the moment + environment in the images I deliver. I'm guessing you already know this, since you're considering a professional photographer over a friend with an iPhone camera! The magic is captured during your session, but it's refined through the process of image-editing.
Please note that "editing" mostly refers to color and composition adjustments. Unless unique requests are made and approved (e.g., you ask me to cover up a pimple that would otherwise haunt you), I do not alter human subjects. You are beautiful as-is.
MY STYLE ~ I would describe my style as candid, artistic, and moody-leaning~always cohesive with the environment. You can view my work in the gallery or on Instagram and decide for yourself!

How do you determine pricing?
Professional photography can seem expensive. This section is written to make you aware of some elements that allow me to deliver beautiful, custom-edited images!
EDUCATION & ARTISTRY ~ I have spent hours upon hours learning how to properly use a camera and adapt to different environments & subjects. Furthermore, I've dedicated years of trial, error, and education to the art of editing images in a style that's not only beautiful, but unique to myself.
EQUIPMENT ~ Professional photography equipment is incredibly expensive, but necessary to capture crisp, timeless images.
EXPERIENCE ~ I have over 10 years of photography experience. I have shot senior photos, artistic portraits, families, weddings, engagements, and businesses. Thus, you can be confident that I will provide knowledgeable customer service and impeccable images.
TIME ~ I love the time that we spend face-to-face, i.e. during your photoshoot! Behind the scenes, I spend many additional hours on administrative work and photo-editing for each client.
